For the life of me I cannot figure this out. I am not into the whole holiday idea. Christmas is coming up in a few weeks and to be honest I really don’t care. Now my wife on the other hand has made a big deal about this in the past. We don’t have any kids and I really don’t have any family so the holiday is about her and her family. I don’t really see any reason to conform into the commercialism of Christmas. All I want to do is just sit at home with any family I do have and eat a nice meal and enjoy their company. Is that too much to ask? I don’t care about presents or stockings or any of that. I didn’t really want a Christmas tree this year. My excuse not to get one was that the cats will ruin it. That didn’t work. My wife set-up this 3 foot plastic tree near the front window. Do all men feel this way? I personally just don’t understand.
I suppose all I want for Christmas is for my wife and I to sit down together and eat a great tasting meal, eat some holiday cookies, watch the movie ” A Christmas Story” and have a good time. Sometimes I don’t think women, in general, can be simple. Everything has to be so complicated. Huh, I just don’t understand.
